We have also selected dental units that utilize only bottled distilled water, rather than tap, so your teeth are exposed to clean water with every treatment and procedure.
Dr. Young has a family of his own and is committed to providing you the same comfortable, thorough care he expects for his own loved ones. By listening to your concerns and using his advanced skills, including an extensive background in oral and restorative surgery, he provides efficient, effective treatments for lifelong oral health. Additionally, he welcomes questions and discussion, as he places a great deal of emphasis on the importance of dental education. He is the type of dentist who, rather than rushing you out of the dental chair, makes time for each of his patients.

Hello, I’m LeAnn. I have over 28 years of experience in the dental hygiene field and I am very excited to be working with EQ Dental. I enjoy working with people and getting to know my community. My best skills are utilized in office administration where I work directly with insurance companies!
I continually strive for growth both personally and professionally and have attended motivational training seminars from top speakers around the United States. I deeply believe that “you can get everything you want out of life by helping other people get what they want!” I look forward to helping you obtain the smile of your dreams! Further, most rewarding for me is building great relationships with our terrific patients; they know we will take exceptional care of them.
I also have three grown boys and I am very anxiously waiting to have grandchildren. I love working out, reading, and cooking Southern food. I can’t wait to meet you at your next appointment!

My name is Aysa. I have been working in the dentistry field for over 8 years, 2 of which have been with Dr. Thomas Young. I studied to become a registered dental assistant in college and now work as the treatment plan coordinator at EQ Dental. Currently, I manage the dental insurances and oversee Dr. Young’s office schedule. One of the things I enjoy most about dentistry is being able to see how changing a patient’s smile has the ability to transform their lives. I aspire to make every patient feel at home when they walk through the door. My husband and I have 2 children that enrich my life every day. In my free time, I love enjoying the outdoors with my friends and family.

My name is Jessica, and I am originally from Sacramento, California. I was blessed to become a part of the EQ Dental team in September, 2018. As a Front, Office Coordinator, some of my duties include scheduling, treatment planning, and insurance verification. I am dedicated to serving all of your insurance needs from verifying your benefits to helping you understand how they will work! I will also discuss with you your recommended treatment plan and review your financial options. If you have questions at any time regarding your insurance, please feel free to reach out to me.
I graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 2001 and I went directly on to receive my RDA. I have been in the dental field ever since. I have over eight years of experience in the dental field. Moreover, I am confident in the knowledge I have acquired. I love getting to meet new people, and watching our satisfied customers walk away with a beautiful smile! I enjoy our friendly, fun, and professional atmosphere. It is the reason so many people choose EQ Dental as their primary dentist.
My husband and I have lived in Dallas, Texas for the past two years with our two adorable children. On the weekends, we enjoy taking our children to one of the many parks or museums in the area. I can’t wait to meet you at your next dental appointment!

Hello, I am Linda. I have studied dental hygiene at Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont, TX. I enjoy being a dental hygienist because I love promoting and teaching dental health. Further, building a rapport with my patients and meeting new people is very fulfilling. I also enjoy treating both adults and children, and I am truly a child at heart.
Before becoming a dental hygienist, I was a dental assistant for three years. Being an assistant gave me the knowledge and a whole new outlook into the dental field. This experience has helped me become the excellent hygienist I am today. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, exercising, singing karaoke, cooking, and relaxing with my family and friends.
My passion for dentistry developed because my parents grew up in a country where dental care was not available. Even today, dental accommodations are still not a standard there. My goal in life, as a dental health professional, is to help and serve the underprivileged that are not able to receive dental care. For the past eight years, I have been very active in continuing education classes. The classes help me to stay knowledgeable with the rapid and growing dental health profession. I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of The EQ Dental team since 2013. I am passionate about being a patient advocate for EQ Dental. There is nothing like the satisfied look on a patient’s face after we have helped them understand the confusing world of dentistry. I love being able to get to know our patients, calm their fears, answer their questions, and make them feel a part of our family.
Another passion of mine is my sweet family! I cannot spend enough time with my husband, Mike, or our daughter Leilah and our son Hector. They sure know how to make my heart smile and getting to spend time with them is something I extremely value.

As far back as I can remember, I have always been interested in the dental field. I received my RDA license in February of 2014 and then began working for Dr. Young in December of 2015. I really love working with the Team at EQ Dental. Dr. Young has created a great working atmosphere that I can’t find in any other dental office. We truly are a great Team and I am so happy that I found them.
My favorite thing about working in the dental industry is seeing the boost of confidence in our patients when they leave our office. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two lovely children.
Briana
My name is Briana, I am 23-years old, born and raised in Indiana. I have been a registered dental assistant since 2014. Prior to working with EQ Dental, I worked at a comprehensive dental office with multi-specialist doctors. This is where I discovered I truly loved the dental field and now I aspire to become a dentist myself.
I found my home at EQ Dental this year, 2018. I love working with Dr. Young and his awesome team of professionals. His dentist office has the most current high-tech equipment to make even the hardest dental procedures manageable and efficient. Dr. Young’s high knowledge, combined with his dedication to his patients, has inspired me. I am very blessed to be working with such a knowledgeable team.
My current goal is to become a dentist. I have been pursuing a bachelor of arts degree and will also be completing my associates of science degree this summer. My ultimate goal is to continue to UTA to complete my bachelor degree in biology. I will be working closely with Dr. Young throughout my schooling to help me grow in the field of dentistry. I graduated from the Texas Academy of Dental Assisting in 2015 and joined the exceptional team here at EQ Dental in 2016. I chose the dental field because I genuinely enjoy helping others and when I see the smiles on my patients’ faces, I’m reassured every time that I made the right career choice. I am the liaison between Dr. Young and our patients; it is my job to make sure that you and your family are comfortable and receive the best care possible.
When I’m not at the office I spend my time shopping, staying active outside with my fur children Oakley and Cinch, or traveling any chance I get with my better half, James!

For the past decade, I have been a dental assistant. I have been at Dr. Young’s office since August 2016. I feel very blessed to be a part of his committed dental Team. One of the things I enjoy the most about dentistry is seeing how changing a patient’s smile can transform their lives. I also love meeting new patients and getting to know my community.
In my spare time, I love working out and keeping up on my personal fitness. I also take pleasure in playing with my lovely dog, who is a four pound Yorkie.

My name is Brenda. I earned my dental assistant degree at The College of Health Care Professions. I joined EQ Dental in May 2019, and look forward to growing my knowledge in the dental field. I highly enjoy getting to know our patients and making them feel comfortable while they are in our office.
I love my career and creating meaningful relationships with our patients. It is important to me to keep their experience personable every time they visit us! Further, I receive immense fulfillment being able to help patients feel great about their smile.
